Dr Audrey Elion

Dr. Audrey Elion is the owner of Elion Management Consulting, LLC. Dr. Elion is the Co-Director for Sowing Justice, a non-profit focused on environmental justice. She has over fifteen years of experience working with and within the school system. She is currently a substitute teacher for Memphis Shelby County Schools, an Arise2Read tutor, a vendor, and Tn Achieves mentor with Memphis Shelby County Schools.

Dr. Elion serves as Chair of the Greater Memphis Region of the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network (TSPN). She is also the Secretary and Member of the Board of Commissioners of Education, Health, and Housing in Memphis Tennessee. Additionally, she serves as a board member for Freed Life which focuses on addressing human trafficking in West Tennessee.

Dr. Elion is the former Special Assistant – Trauma Informed Intervention for Juvenile Court of Memphis/Shelby County. She also served on Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris’ Gun Safety Council. Dr. Elion is the past chair of the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network (TSPN) Statewide Advisory Council. Additionally, Dr. Elion is past chair of the Public Policy & Legislation Committee for the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development for the American Counseling Association.
